We have a referral!!

Last week we got the call we have been praying for!! A baby from China who is an absolute doll!! We are so in love with her already and can't wait to travel to bring her home!! Her name is Li Enxi and she just turned 1 on March 22!! She is an absolute doll!! Our LOI was mailed April 1st so we may get our LSC any day now and I'm staying very close to home so I don't miss any calls from CHI!! I will post more soon as things settle down and I can breath a little easier. So much to do and so little time!! Our agency mentioned that folks are traveling in record time, 3 1/2 weeks, so no time to rest! Yesterday we went shopping at Walmart for all the necessities in life. I'm sure I am going to be taking everything and leaving most of it in China for others. At least it is spring break and my little helper is home to keep me from spending to much money!!

Fall is in the air!!

I love fall time in Virginia!! Makeing chillie in my crock pot the slow way to savor the smells and antisipating the flavors of every spice i dumped in. The warmth of the sun on my face and the excitinment on my son's face and we drive to the pumpkin patch down the road to spend the afternoon. I absolutly love the fall time, it is my favorite time of the year.

I just realized that today will be our 2 year anniversary from our log in date and I can't hardly believe it. We have alot of things in that 2 years and I thought now would be a good time to list some of my favorite things we've done as a family.
